Animal Report Research

The animal I have chosen to research is: Orca

The Killer Whale-Orca
The orca comes from are big family called the dolphin family. It is the biggest from the dolphin family .

It looks like another version of are cow .The orca is pure black and white and it looks like are shark.
You could find these species in the open sea or sometimes they can be washed up in shore’s or bay.
Killer Whales diet includes fish, squid, seals, sea lions, walruses, birds, sea turtles. otters, penguins, polar bears, reptiles, sharks, octopus and even smaller whales.
The size of a pod usually varies from fewer than 5 to about 30 individuals.   Pod sizes may change with different geographic locations; off Alaska and Antarctica, groups of more than 100 animals have been seen.
Killer whales live in groups called pods.
There is an occasional exchange of members between pods, especially during breeding season.

I like killer whales because killer whales don’t eat or bite people. They are from the dolphin family which means that if dolphins are kind then killer whales are kind.

Aiga-Poem

I am a Tongan warrior and I am respectful and proud of who I am
I have pride for my country Tonga and Leimatua
My ancestors are watching over me from the clouds
I can feel that my Nana is proud looking over me and giving me honour and strength
I will walk with pride in my ancestor’s shadow showing love and respect
My ancestor’s will guide me in my life and in the future
